About...

Zac Kreider of GT Auto spent 15 years in the automotive industry professionally as a collision repair technician, automotive restoration specialist and educator. You will not find anyone more professional that shows excitement and passion. GT Auto’s approach to project management is simple. Communication, organization, clear goals and expectations, and timeliness.

Formerly trained in automotive collision repair and refinishing technology Zac specialized in structural damage diagnosis and repair which is the foundation for a vehicle’s safe return to the road after a collision or restoration. Countless wrecked vehicles, rotisserie restorations, customized classics and spot repairs were put back on the road by the teams that Zac was part of.

After many years of repair and restoration work a new adventure was in the works, post-secondary education. Zac returned to college but as lead instructor of the Automotive Collision Technology program at Aims Community College in northern Colorado.  The director of the program requested an update and makeover of the program that would bring national recognition and industry support.  This was achieved by working directly with tool, equipment and material manufacturers for updated technology support and continuous training.  The program joined SkillsUSA, a national organization that focuses on trade industries through advanced training and competitions and began winning at all levels and placing students at the top of the competitions as well as national winners.  Many of these students have gone on to work at prestigious shops around the country and some have even become successful business owners in the automotive industry.

In 2016 an opportunity for a new adventure came to Zac. The leading carbon fiber aerospace company in northern Colorado was expanding and needing a shop supervisor for their second location. This opportunity allowed Zac to expand his knowledge to a new industry while bringing his expertise and skill sets to an industry and an expanding business. Focused on carbon fiber structures, lightweight unmanned aerial vehicles, composite tooling, and small-scale carbon fiber prototype production.

In 2019 Zac was tired, his son was already 3 years old, and he needed a change and began building GT Auto. His knowledge, skills and relationships could be combined to benefit others. He consulted industry experts, has forged relationships, and created a method that will allow for nothing but the best approach to managing your projects allowing you to focus your valuable time elsewhere.

His commitment to you…He is here to manage your automotive project to expectations and completion with a focused path to achieve your goals in a timely manner with complete transparency, superb communication, and privacy allowing you to focus your time elsewhere.
